As soon as summer starts, we try to run away to nearest hill station to enjoy the beautiful weather. People usually contact a travel tourism agency to arrange thir trip and sometimes people just rent a car and carry on with their adventure.
But if you are planning to visit hill station this summer then you must think twice before making any plan anytime soon because there have been many incidences reported to authorities for tourist being assaulted by taxi mafia, especially in Leh, Ladakh region.
This video uploaded on Team BHP website by their community members who went through this horrific situation where they were allegedly attacked by a local crowd (travel tourism agency mafia), damaging their 15 vehicles and injuring few. According to a Team BHP post, the assault began when two self-drive rental vehicles on the way back from Pangong Lake were attacked by iron rods and stones. The group had a difficult time with the police initially against this travel tourism agency mafia.
Now, the group has uploaded a video of the incident showing some glimpses of the attack on them.

It is surprising that why Ministry of Home Affairs & the Jammu and Kashmir government is not doing anything. They should take appropriate steps to stop this immediately.
